COREY'S COMPUTING WARRANTY POLICY

What is covered by Corey's Computing Warranty?

Any new product found to be defective by one of our qualified technicians. The warranty does not extend to any product that is physically damaged as a result of misuse, mishandling or improper installation by the purchaser.

Product returned as defective must be tested. If any product returned is found to be working properly as per the manufacturers specification, the purchaser/buyer will be charged a fee for testing and verification.

All products can be exchanged within 30 days of purchase provided that the item is in it's original condition and in original packaging. The invoice must accompany the item - No Exceptions. Corey's Computing offers no refunds. If product is found to be defective it must be tested by our service department. 

After the first 30 days  up to 1 year from original date of purchase, Corey's Computing will send the defective product back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement free of charge.

An additional 6 month straight exchange policy can be purchased for  a 10% of the value of an item. This policy must be purchased at time of the item purchase. Ask a Sales Representative for details.

If a product's warranty is more than 1 year, for a fee Corey's Computing will handle that warranty for you provided you have the original receipt. Shipping, handling, and diagnostic charges will apply unless an extended warranty plan was purchased with the item.

Products under $25.00 have a 30 day warranty.

Items excluded from the normal warranty period are :

Monitors including: Daytek, LG, Samsung, TTX
Corey's Computing will handle the warranty for the first 30 days (from original date of purchase) . After the first 30 days the purchaser must send the product directly to the manufacturer (as per their instructions) for warranty service.

Printer's & Scanners: (All makes and Models)
Corey's Computing will handle the warranty up to the first seven days (from original date of purchase). After the first seven days the purchaser must send the product directly to the manufacturer ( as per their instructions) for warranty service.

Refurbished Systems & Monitors:
All refurbished systems and monitors have a 30 day warranty. 

Very Important:
Exception for Warranty:
If the purchaser/buyer purchases "parts only" and assembles the parts, only the part that is defective should be returned to us for warranty service. A diagnostic fee and shop hourly labor rate will be charged to disassemble a computer system to find a defective part.

Items sent away for warranty may take approximately 4-8 weeks to be returned.
